Facebook Tips & Tricks

facebook-logo-png-transparent-background-i2I don’t know about you guys, but I think Facebook just keeps getting more and more tricky to use. I’ve recently come across two things that I think you will find super helpful in staying up-to-date with the happenings of LifeChoices, and sharing those exciting updates with your friends and family!

1. Sharing LifeChoices’ Facebook posts with YOUR friends and family:

This can be a little tricky, but totally possible. First, click on the photo of the post that you want to share. If you’re using a computer, all you have to do next is click “Share”. It looks like this:

If you’re on a mobile device, there’s just a few more steps involved. First, click on the line of three dots at the bottom of the picture. They look like this:

Next, you’ll click on “Share”:

Then you just write whatever text you want, and post! But, how do you make sure you’re seeing all the new, exciting information to know what to share? We have a solution for that, too!

2. Turning on Facebook group notifications:

This has a few more steps than sharing a post, so let’s go over directions of how to do this from a computer first. You’re going to want to make sure you’re on the LifeChoices group page first. Then, click on the gray box at the top of the page that says “Notifications”. It looks like this:

This will show you all your different notification options. I suggest selecting “All Posts” – but the choice is completely up to you.

Now, here’s how to do the same thing from a mobile device. From inside the LifeChoices group, click the “More” button on the far-right of the screen. It looks like this:

Next, you’ll want to select “View Group Info” :

Then, click “Edit Notification Settings” :

Then, just select the best option for you! Now you can be sure you’ll never miss the LC information that you want to know!
