During this unprecedented time we are facing, situations and circumstances can change by the hour. Yet, even so, our mission hasn’t changed. Men, women, and families still face unexpected pregnancies and sexual health crises. The phone calls keep coming and the needs are still arising among the “least of these” in our community.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to gift a stroller and other material resources to a high school student who made the brave choice to continue her pregnancy even though she had no support from her family. We provided treatment for a life-threatening disease to a young woman who is pregnant and could not find another clinic open to serve her. We visited with a single mother who is unexpectedly pregnant and is terrified to bring another child into the world during these uncertain times.
I don’t need to tell you why the work being done at LifeChoices is essential, but I do need to tell you “Thank you.” Because even while quite possibly facing challenges you never expected, you’re sticking with us. You too, remain committed to the mission, a mission which is accomplished only when all of us work together. I could not be more appreciative, or more thankful.
Because of you, the mission will thrive in these uncertain times. We have an opportunity to be a beacon of hope in our community in ways we could not have imagined just weeks ago. And that wouldn’t happen with you.
Again, thank you.
