As the temperatures change and we enter a new season of the year, I find myself continuing to reflect on a client visit at our clinic last month.
A young pregnant teen came through our doors feeling overwhelmed with fear, uncertainty, and pressure. She was determined to terminate her pregnancy – she couldn’t see a reality where being a young, single mom was possible. But because you choose to partner with LifeChoices, she didn’t have to face that moment alone. By the end of the appointment the tears of despair had been turned into excited anticipation: an ultrasound gave her critical information, an appointment for prenatal care was arranged, care-coordination services connected her with resources in our community, and she had already arranged for a friend to go with her to tell her parents.
At our clinic, she was met with grace, medical professionalism, and tangible resources. This holistic approach led to an empowered choice for life.
