At our Choices Medical clinic, we strive to see the person before we serve the patient. Every person we serve is a precious child of God, not just a set of symptoms. The chapter of their life that we walk into is just part of their story. They’ve been shaped by culture, faith, and language, and so often at our clinic, they come with a deep ache of being misunderstood and seeking answers.
As one author writes, “Cultural humility reminds us: we are not the experts on someone else’s life. We are guests in their story. And when we slow down to listen, we make space for the kind of love that looks like Jesus.”
One young woman posted this review after being served by our compassionate healthcare team:
Excellent, kind people, I loved it, may God bless them, thank you for the way you treated me today.
James 1:19 reminds us that “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
At LifeChoices our mission is not merely to “fix” people, but rather to walk alongside them – to encounter the whole person – ministering to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Dignity and worth don’t begin with us…they begin with God.
Thank you for your generosity to help our community come in proximity to a gospel-whispering hope that is needed by all.
