At a busy local coffee shop, a conversation between a customer and the barista shifted to the customer’s new job in our school programming department. As she delightedly shared her excitement about educating local youth about healthy decision-making, the barista made the connection between the Compass program and our Choices Medical clinic and remarked, “Oh wow, I love that place. In fact, my nurse there restored my faith in humanity when I was going through a really hard time.”
Every day, from the classroom to the clinic, we have the privilege of restoring faith in humanity as our team responds to a hurting world with the compassion of Christ through tangible acts of service. More importantly, we are able to restore faith in Jesus for so many.
