2021 has arrived and we all are excited for the New Year ahead! January is often seen as a month of new beginnings, but it is also a month set aside to reflect on two areas of incredible injustice in our world – the sanctity of human life and human trafficking.
Proverbs 31:8-9 reads, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Your generosity to LifeChoices is a voice that speaks up and makes it possible for our team to serve so many who are suffering from the deep hurts of a world that often chooses to devalue life. We are so thankful for you!
As I’ve reflected on this past year, I can see all too vividly the faces of so many individuals – from all ethnicities, ages, and demographics – who have sought our help. I especially remember one cold, long night when our team was deployed at the request of law enforcement. The situation was intense and heavy, but as each woman and child was brought into the safety of our awaiting team there was suddenly a spark of hope in the midst of the darkness. Because of your partnership, a voice was there to speak up and action was taken!
